Code 128 and Code 39

If you need Code 128 or Code 39 barcodes, please order them below. We will email the barcodes to you in five different formats (jpeg, eps, BMP, tiff, pdf). NOTE: 

Code 128 and Code 39 barcodes are used for stock management (asset labelling), membership cards, library books etc.

On the checkout page please enter the barcode data you want to be encoded into the “additional information” section. The data can be numeric or alpha-numeric (e.g. “AB 1000” to “AB 1499”).

We can produce a sample barcode image for you to test scan.

Some clients require a pdf book of barcode images (see image below) rather than individual images. We can make this for you too.

 

What’s The Difference between Code 128 and Code 39:

The key difference is that Code 39 has a low data density, and Code 128 has a very high data density. Therefore, few goods should be labelled with a Code 128 barcode (not a Code 39 barcode).

Most barcode scanners can read both formats easily, especially if they only contain numeric digits (some scanners may struggle to read barcodes that contain alphabetic letters as well).

Note: Code 128 and Code 39 barcodes are for internal use only. They cannot be used for products in retail stores (retail products need EAN barcodes).

Book of images rather than individual images.
